You can reduce your utility bills by following the tips in the following sections:

Encourage your landlord to follow these tips as well. They'll save energy and money, improving your comfort and lowering your utility bills even more.

Property Owners

Nearly all of the information in this guide applies to rental units. The section on Your Home's Energy Use focuses on air leaks, insulation, heating and cooling, roofing, landscaping, water heating, windows, appliances, and renewable energy.

An Electric Service Provider (ESP) is a non-utility entity that offers "Direct Access" electric service to customers located within the service territory of an investor-owned utility.
